2020 Vision
What's up everyone!
First of all, it's been WAY too long since I've posted. My apologies to all the loyal readers and supporters. You guys truly are amazing and I'll never forget that. But this year, (and yes I MEAN IT this time) I will most definitely be posting and getting this blog back jumping. Hopefully more than it ever was before.
Now I know you're probably reading this and thinking, "Damn Jay, are you really going to change? Or is it going to just fall off again?" (Probably looking exactly like the meme) Yes, and no. Due to a few very crucial but kind of lame reasons, the blog fell off around February last year. A huge part being that my laptop's charging port broke and literally half the keys never worked. Personally, I'm a really peculiar writer. I have to be in a certain position with hardly anyone around (maybe a few trusted individuals) with either music or a show I can basically quote as my background noise. My living arrangements changed a couple times during that time frame. When I first started my blog, I had a desk with a huge window that just set a nice aesthetic that almost compelled me to write. The desk wasn't much but it was enough for me to actually feel like I could conquer the world either pen to paper or fingertips to keys. Long story short, I had to downsize when we moved so no more desk. Then my computer fucked me over fairly early in the year. So I had to either bum someone's laptop or I was either always in the library. Neither one of those are comfortable for this writer. But none of that actually matters, excuses are tools anyway.

Here's where the change comes in. If you know me personally, then you know my motto is "All gas no breaks 2020".
The reason this is the motto for me is because this year should be the year we push ourselves to the limit. A great deal of you reading are probably between the ages of 18-30. These years are the pivotal years in your life. Around these ages you will either be in college, graduating, continuing education, working, or maybe even on your own grind at the moment. The older audience might be working more or even close to starting their own lives. A decade has passed us by and life has changed significantly. Going from the IPhone 4 to the IPhone 11 Pro Max in ten measly years (along with other more important things) I would say we've changed pretty drastically. However, the drastic change also goes for the wild fires happening all over the world, global warming fucking shit up, the sex trafficking numbers going up, and not to mention that World War III could happen at any minute, I've come to the conclusion that there is no time to wait this year. Why keep putting things off, when we have the capability to do them now?
So there you have it guys, I'm dedicated this year. Time is just too short to be sitting around moping about life. Especially when there's so much to do and explore in it. Shit isn't always easy, but hey, you are ALWAYS in control of your own destiny. Meaning, that at the end of the day, if you're unhappy about something, CHANGE IT. Fix whatever it is that's messing up your aurora and positive energy. We as individuals have more power than we think. Hell, the Earth is still spinning every single day, even though humans have been messing it for a large portion of the time we've inhabited it. But... we're still here, even after Y2K, 2012, and all the other end of the world scares.
Okay, okay. Off the tangent. I'm revamping Jay's Way. I wanna know what my readers are interested in. I don't want to write about topics you guys won't actually read. So at any time, if you have topics or anything you'd like to see me talk about, don't hesitate to reach out. Also, at some point I will be adding an advice column tab. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty insightful person with a level-head. I can give the unbiased opinions and answers that my anyone might need. More details about that will be coming up soon.
I know, enough already! In closing, be prepared for changes this year. Personally I'm embracing positive auroras, productiveness, and decreasing my anxiety levels and stress. I'm truly excited to know what the first year of the decade has in store.
Until next time, keep a positive vibe readers! More to come soon.
